Verizon Destination Store Opens at Mall of America

TerraCORE Panels recently contributed to Verizon’s first Destination Store at Mall of America® in Bloomington, Minnesota. The store covers over 9,700 square feet and features our lightweight, black, ThinSlab granite stone, reinforced by honeycomb. The gala event on November 27, 2013 featured pop star Selina Gomez, a host of company executives and staff members. The store is uniquely divided into “lifestyle zones” targeting a variety of areas in a consumer’s life, competing with the ever-popular Apple Store.

The Mall of America® location is the first of many Destination Stores for Verizon, who plan to open stores in Houston and Chicago, early 2014. TerraCORE, who provided lightweight natural stone veneer panels for both the exterior and interior, offered the new Destination Store a memorable, elegant and fashionable finish. Natural stone is more durable and will offer more class and variety in any project.
